Proferro focuses on safety during Safety day

Proferro recently organized a Safety day, with an entire day being devoted to the issue of safety.

“As a company, we want everyone to be able to work in a safe way, and all our employees play a crucial role in this objective. Therefore, we were pleased to join forces to continue building together on realizing an even safer working environment at Proferro,” explains Cathy Defoor (VP Proferro).

In recent years, many efforts have been made in terms of ensuring safety in the foundry. These have included weekly safety meetings, targeted training, a poster campaign, and much more, and this approach has resulted in positive safety results.

However, Proferro is an industrial work environment in which there are various potential safety risks. For us, every workplace accident is one too many and therefore our common goal is to aim for zero workplace accidents.
